We’re a small, experienced team with deep roots in college admissions. Together, we’ve read over 12,000 applications, served in five admissions offices across both coasts, and guided students from all backgrounds through this process. One of our team members previously served as an Assistant Director of Admissions at USC and now oversees first-year admissions at a private university in California. In that role, they currently travel regularly to national conferences, and meet with admissions officers from across the country. This ongoing work informs how we guide students, based not just on what used to work, but on where admissions is heading and how students across the country are approaching their applications. Our team holds degrees from top institutions, including Berkeley and UCLA, so we’ve experienced the process from both sides.

One of our team members was admitted to UC Berkeley with a GPA below the campus’s admit profile, not because of perfect stats, but because of how powerfully his story came through. His application wasn’t just read, it was felt. That experience shapes the philosophy behind how we work with students today. He now helps lead our work crafting applications because he believes every student deserves the chance to share their story in a way that’s honest, compelling, and unforgettable. And when students are able to do that, they give themselves the best possible shot at admission to the colleges where they belong.
